Is it weird for humans (homo sapiens) to be emotionally attached to animals that are not at all mammals?
Is it like weird if we have developed this type of love to animal that is not at all a mammal or another human-being like for example say that you are very attached to your pet invertebrate, reptile, amphibian, bird, fish, etc. anything that is not mammal or human right? and your pet passes away and you are very sad and have been crying for days or whatever because you can't get over your lost of that pet and somebody just tells you "it was just fish" or "it was just a lizard" or whatever and your response will be of course "it was not just a fish or just a lizard, it was my pet something that has been apart of family for years and who i've raised since birth/hatching, etc. and i loved him/her so much that you wouldn't even understand" or whatever, do you guys get what i'm getting too but do you think it's weird for people to get emotionally attached to an animal that probably won't even love them back or whatever like some people like to claim? me personally, does not at all think it's weird because it's just like if someone in your family or your pet dog or cat passed on, of course you'll be sad and all but do any of you like to share the story of your pet that has passed away that wasn't a mammal and you loved him or her so much, feel free to answer.
