Can I add a receiver later on?

If I get DirecTV, can I add a receiver for another room at no charge, or will they charge me? Right now we have no need for one in the extra room (storage right now!), but it will be a guest room in a few months. If we purchase now, we can get standard receivers for free, will we still be able to get that in a few months?
