Does he still love me?

I m 29 and married. I had a friend in college who really liked me and even proposed to me. But I was committed to someone else. Now he spoke to after a long time, incidentally he was online when I logged to my old account. Even he is married. We had a general chat and then he went on asking me about my job and what I had cooked so on. He also said that he wanted to meet me for a coffee. Is this appropriate? Is he just being friendly or does he still love me?
