Why do people blame the Jews for killing Jesus?

People blame the Jews because the Jews, from that time, turned him in and pressured the Romans into crucifying Him. And It's weird how the Jews don't accept Jesus as the Messiah since His life fulfills the prophecy in Isaiah. But no, the Jews didn't kill Jesus, the Romans crucified Him. The Jews, from that time, just betrayed Jesus and persecuted Jesus.
