Its still possible that MOST species of dinosaur were more like amphibians then either reptiles or mammals. Bone structure and density rules out "birdlike" in most cases, and bone structures, particularly skull, rules out mammalian in most cases..... so reptilian is the "closest" set based on the largest general set of characteristics.

Ok, this is really very weird and even harder to describe but I will do my best. In simplest terms, when I see an overweight woman, I want her to see that I am more overweight than her. If that sound weird, well, thats because it is. If I see a heavy women (especially young and dressed a certain way), I want them to so badly see that I am fatter than them, even though Im not. In addition, if I see a very heavy guy, I want them to pass by a heavy women so they notice him. This is NOT a fat fetsih, though that is the closest thing I could compare it to. I Am So Disgusted With Certain Family Members Right Now?

My mother has always been controlling and co-dependent on her children. Don't get me wrong, she was also very loving and nurturing but...controlling. She has always been both emotionally and financially co-dependent on her children, now aged 34 & 36. I finally had enough and moved out at the age of 29yrs and have lived independently since. My sibling lives with her but strongly desires to move out into his own place. He won't do this out of fear of what will happen to my mother. He refuses to admit this to her but has told me this is the reason he hesitates to leave. My mother has been on unemployment for maybe 1 1/2 - 2 yrs. She is trying to collect SSI and disability. As you probably know...this is a time consuming process but she wasn't exactly in a hurry. She now only has about 1.5 month left to collect unemployment. Recently, my sibling voiced his desire to have his own place. My mother agreed and when he asked what she planned to do....she told him she would move in with a complete stranger and rent a room. CRAZINESS! I told her I refuse to condone this and told her she will put her belongings in storage and move-in with me. I explained to her my brother MUST eventually move out into his own place and learn to live independently. She too will eventually move out into a one bedroom and learn to live independently. I have become extrememly angry over this issue. Not to mention, just yesterday I learned my brother may have an older child he never knew about until recently. How to fix the middle armrest and glove compartment in a Chevy Malibu?

So when my husband buys a new car he'll be giving me his 1998 Chevy Malibu (um...yay?) It runs okay and I only really need it to make short runs to the store, laundromat, whatever. South Park fans: Season 15 opener: 'HUMANCENTiPAD' more distasteful than funny?

Well, it was ok. I did not think Cartman's character had really changed as he did act quite innocent (particularly when he was crying in the car). South Park is known to base episodes on films etc. I did not think it was that bad. Some of it was a bit sickening but most of it was still funny. Just forget about it. South Park is a great show. It did include some jokes like te one about that Kyle wouldn't be eating Japanese food in a while. That was quite funny. I know it was not as funny as previous episodes but it was not all bad. The other episodes in this season sound good. I have seen another from the new series (Funny Bot) and heard about others. They sound hilarious. Especially the one I read about called 'Royal Pudding'. I think a nice wallpaper that you really like would work well- or at least a border. Once you have that you can move on to general accessories that go well. And then around the sink you can get matching chrome accessories like soap dispenser or toothbrush holder. You don't want to crowd the room too much. I am religious, and I worked for years in animal rescue. Why do I still worry about being left alone after all these years?

I can't shake this idea, maybe it was a dream, that I've worried over for 30+ years. One part has already come true, due to circumstances that couldn't be avoided. Well, if I understand this right, a haplotypes is basically a combination of alleles and wouldn't population differentiation result from different sets of alleles (or haplotypes)? So, my question is how these two are different? Wouldn't lots of population differentiation mean that there are many different haplotypes in that population and vice versa (low population differentiation = few haplotypes)?

Anything that was in a box is gone. We have lived in California, in some not so nice areas and have never had anything like this happen to us. The storage facility has gone over video tape to see if they can catch the person, however they are telling us that there is nothing they can do about any of our things and they are not liable. The storage found the man who took all of our things as well as 7 other storage units and the police will not do anything. They have told us they will assign a detective in 10 to 12 days. I had hoped that Utah would be a better place then what we have experienced. I do not care about most of the things. I only want to try to get the family air looms back. Becoming a paleontologist?

Currently, I'm an honours anthropology student, and I've always been fascinated by paleo since I was a child. Dinosaurs, the Permian mammal-like reptiles, and the woolies of the upper Cenozoic, those three broad groups always fascinated me. And of course, human evolution. I'm extremely fascinated by primate paleontology and behavioural ecology, subjects that I am enrolled in for this up-coming year. My original goal was to pursue paleoanthropological research for my Master's and Doctoral research after completing my undergraduate degree, but the more and more I study paleoanthropology, the more I want to study just paleontology in general. But making the jump from the social science faculty to the natural science faculty is not an easy thing to do, and its pretty much set up to be that way. I have been thinking about dropping down from honours specialization in anthropology to a major in biological anthropology, and taking on a major in geology as well. My institution offers a "Major in Earth and Planetary Sciences" which requires you to take an arsenal of core courses: plate tectonics, environments, and products; structural geology; crystallography and optics; stratigraphy and sedimentology; paleobiology and paleoecology; 11 day summer field course; a course on petrology, and then several electives. If I took a double major in biological anthropology and earth and planetary sciences, would I be eligible to apply to the geology department to take a M.Sc in geology? Ultimately, I will probably end up just doing primate paleontology, but I want a broad paleontology background, so that if I want to take up research on another taxonomic group I can do so. I don't like the fact that anthropology limits one to studying the primate/prosimian group.

I would try a System Restore which reverts your computer's settings back to a previous state. If you know a time when your computer was working properly, you can try System Restore, and if it does not fix the problem, it can be completely undone. The restoration will not affect your personal files or any files that you put in the My Documents folder (at least in Windows XP, double check this for Vista) however it will delete any programs that you installed after the chosen restoration time (unless they are in My Documents). In XP you find System Restore in Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. You should be able to access it in Safe Mode.

My piercing is itching? Is it infected or is it just the irony of all these different events put together?

So I know that when that usually happens it means that a wound is healing. I recently got my piercing two days ago and incidentally I had a shower last night and afterwards it felt a bit funny. i just bought a used ipod off ebay and it said i need to replace the click wheel so i bought it for 17.00 when turn it on all i get is the apple logo but yet there is menu navigation and if i hit the right combination of buttons i can get it to play i checked under device manager and it shows the ipod as mass storage device and upon double clicking the usb device i get the error code the device cannot start (10) so apparently the click wheel does work but theres some other problem with it also i can get it into dignostics mode but hard reset doesnt do anything and disk mode doesnt apper in my computer please help!!!

Can a mice infestation make you sick?

we've had difficulty getting rid of mice in our new house this winter. Sure, we keep food in the cupboards and every morning I wipe down my entire kitchen with bleach water from head to toe so we aren't eating on anything the mice might have crawled on, but despite the precautions I'm concerned about the pet food dishes and from time to time we've found the odd evidence they've stolen some food and stashed it (maybe during the day from a box of cookies when we went out on a walk or something) and we find piles of mouse poop in areas of the house we don't expect, like my daughter's toy bin (she still mouths all her toys) or behind our couch on all our NEW baby furniature we're saving for when I have my new baby in a few weeks. Mac running out of hard drive space?

Last night I was trying to import some movie footage, but it said my hard drive needed like 7 GB! I have a ton of files on my computer but for some reason whenever I move the files I don't need to my trash and clear the trash, it doesn't give me any more room. How do you permanently remove files on a Mac? Or is there an online storage for files so I can move all the files there so they don't take up space on my hard drive? The files are pages, keynote, idvd, etc.

Can you make a claim on your car insurance for damage that you caused by backing into a pole?

I have had my car for 5 years and never had an accident or anything, but somehow I managed to accidentally back into two poles in a single week. Try your best to make use of what's there and offered before trying to change things. College is expensive so that $50 dollars for the mattress topper thing would be better spent going to your meal plan. You can't buy a new mattress or desk chair because you'd have to store the old one that's already there and you wouldn't have a place to store it. Dorm mattresses/chairs/desks aren't the best but it's the dorms so everyone makes do. They serve their purpose. The room will have a closest and space in the closet but I would suggest stack able storage containers to save space. Not all dorms have the raised bed, that's only a certain style of dorm bed. There's no need for the shoe hanger, it just takes up space and you won't wear most of those shoes anyways.

What would you do if you were in my situation?

I work in a day camp and have so much free time on my hands.
